Hi! I was just wondering if any of you have come across interesting translator blogs out there on the webicon_smile.gif
Anything from amusing to technical, as long as it's interesting; it would be nice to get the link, read through a little and see if it's worthy of my squeezing into my bookmarks, for those rare times that I'm not too busyicon_razz.gif

you can check these ;) Sep 28, 2007

Sure, there is my blog for example! http://art-fluo.blogspot.com

It's in spanish though

Anyway, i love checking Language Log, which is a weblog run by University of Pennsylvania phonetician Mark Liberman, with multiple guest linguists.

They discuss English grammar rather than translation or interpreting issues. It's really interesting and constantly updated.icon_biggrin.gif

I know of one... Sep 28, 2007

I know of one that is specifically about translation, called transubstantiation. You'll find it here:
http://transubstantiation.wordpress.com/

As a word geek, I also have a look at Grammarphobia from time to time:
http://www.grammarphobia.com/blog/

It will be interesting to see what else turns up here - great question, irishpolyglot!
