I'm 100% confident that it is English written in a secret alphabet. After struggling for about 20 minutes, I can now read it. I don't think this is lab related, so I'm not going to tell you what it says. You should ask the person you took it from.

I find no question by this poster about language guessing in the past 2 years.

Yup, English Sep 16, 2020

I, too, got hooked into decyphering it and have gotten the alphabet it's based on. As Sam says, it's probably something personal that the person didn't want to have read by strangers on the Internet. You may want to take this down and ask the person yourself.

Sam, I think Tom's thinking about a different person who posted a page of Ge'ez script (totally different) a few days ago.

Thanks everyone. Sep 17, 2020

Thanks everyone for the answers. Yeah, we only curious about what language is that (that why I label this post 'off topic'). There is no need to decipher the text if it is not related to our lab works.

Thanks again everyone.
