Hi, Everybody,

I have some texts which needs your explanation.
There are 2 word, talking and along.
Please take a look at these paragraphs bellow.

1.
"Why do you want to take your kitten to school?" asked Mother.
Pat said that all the children were talking their pets to school.
They were going to have a pet show.

Tom is on a big boat. Tom's mother and father are on the boat too.

2.
Tom is on a big boat. Tom's mother and father are on the boat too.
They are going for along boat ride.
They will be on the water for days.

I think the talking and along should be replaced with
taking and a long respectively?
Can you help me to find out what is correct?

Yes, you are right, they should use "taking" and "a long".
