If you don't already know it, here is a fabulous resource on English punctuation that is not only useful but fun to read:

"Eats, Shoots & Leaves" by Lynne Truss (Gotham Books, 2003).

A word of caution Mar 8, 2005

The game does not always work properly - we've had this discussion on the Romanian forum. E.g., when you insert the apostrophe between 'childrens' and 'hands' to get the possessive 'children's hands', you may be told that it's wrong

I just tried it and it works. Too bad it is so short. With much more examples that the computer would pick at random it could be an amusing learning tool.

What I meant to say is that it doesn't *always* work properly - it went wrong in my case (twice), it went wrong for another colleague who tried it, but it worked OK for others. I guess you were lucky
