Hi Carole,

Have a look under http://www.bdue-bayern.de/Veranstaltungen/International/BCLT_Summer_Programme.pdf or www.uea.ac.uk.

The 2005 Language Show in London, 4-6 November Aug 5, 2005

This should be a good one: The 2005 Language Show
60 free talks and over 100 exhibitors.

I didn't go last year because the ticket prices were very high, but I realised afterwards that cheaper tickets are available from various sources. Am definitely going this year.

Before that, the IOL holds its members day in London on 17 September but I am not sure that they admit visitors who are not members.

I think I shall try to take this one in. (How and where do you get the cheaper tickets?)
Thank you,
Carole H.

Only £10 entry to the Language Show in London Oct 31, 2005

Just received my free ticket with my latest magazine of the Institute of Linguists this weekend, but I noticed that entry only costs £10 (some Euro 15) this year. The Language Show takes place from Fri 4 to Sun 6 November in Olympia in London. I am keen not to miss it this year!
