Hello,

Does anyone know what is the origin of the name, probably Dutch, Aneka? Its etymological background?

Thank you!

It's traditionally Anneke, even though today there are some Anika's Mar 2, 2003

Anneke is usually derived from Johanna. I\'m sure there are places on the web with meanings of the name.

Good luck,

Marijke

That is fine, since the etymological background seems one and the same:

hanan= mercy, grace (of God)

Thank you, both of you, for your help!
