thank you!! May 8, 2002

I never have literary translations to do, alas, but I\'ll add these to my collection of links in 5 languages: www.uccellis.ud.it/Webschmurr/Indice.htm (nice way of plugging, isn\'t it?)

Thanks! May 8, 2002

That will probably ruin my career and my personal life, but thanks anyway...

Here are a couple of my own favorites:

- www.eldigoras.com (a wealth of language and literature resources, mostly in Spanish, but including many Portuguese and some French links)

- http://www.lewiscarroll.org/carroll.html (the Lewis Carroll home page)

Cheers,

Andrea

Good old Gutenberg May 8, 2002

Dear Colleagues,

I\'m sure we have all heard of the excellent site run by Michael Hart of University of Illnois at Urbana-Champaign: www.gutenberg.net

Sometimes, it is interesting to just download etexts from there using an FTP program like WSFTP. I downloaded a full years collection to find gems like the French great Honore de Balzac.

But the icing on the cake were The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci. If someone wants to save time searching, I can email them a book or two from my computer.

Regards

Roomy Naqvy
