Dear collegues,

I am working as an economic translator and would just for my own interest like to know more about the everyday life of a literature translator. I am wondering in fact if there are much differences between your branch and the translation work in the sectors economy, medecine and technics.

Please feel free to talk about your profession (deadlines, agencies, prices, everyday routines). I would be very pleased to discuss this with you. You can also reach me over my e-mail address.

Best regards,

How much time do you have? ;-) Dec 28, 2016

I am one of those creatures. Unfortunately under a lot of deadline pressure at the moment and as usual. Which answers at least one of your questions.
I could literally write books about my chosen and cherished profession. But don't have the time.
It is hard, it is competitive, it is stressful, challenging and rewarding.

Maybe more when I take a breather?
All the best for 2017!
