Hello everyone!

I´ve been asked to preserve (show) the source text after performing a clean-up in Trados (I´ve used Word). Is it a fast thing to do? And how, if I may ask. I could really use your help...

Thank you all,

Romina

bak-file Jun 12, 2009

Trados names the original file .bak, which is the bilingual text after translation. If you need the source-text alone, you have to convert this file using a tool like PlusToyz.doc (SourceTextOnly).

Thank you for the info! Jun 12, 2009

Dear Heinrich,

Thank you for the details, but I need to have both (Source and Target), one below the other, in the same document!

Dear Rod,

It is indeed a pain and the link to Claudia's instructions was what I needed!
I'll get into it.

Thank you very much.

Romina
