Hi there, I'm looking for a good localisation software package...
does anyone here use Lingobit Localizer: what are the advantages or flaws?
Or can you recommend me something else.

Thanks for your help.
Aurelie

Did not like it too much Feb 28, 2010

I had to use Lingobit Localizer for a customer a few weeks ago, and personally did not like it much. Apart from some things, like the fact that it allows you to use Google to translate the strings (the end customer of my job had done it and the result was a mess), to me the export and import possibilities were just too weak. I just could not find a sensible way of exporting strings, translate them with a CAT tool, and then reimport them.

My job was not to do resizing or testing with Lingobit, so I cannot say much about that aspect.

Another tool I like a lot better is

Check RC-WinTrans (got some flaws, but it's generally reliable tool) or Sisulizer.
