MT and TM pairing

I had positive experience pairing Trados and Promt (used Promt as multiterm replacement, used it for machine translation of huge pricelists).
Does anyone have this experience with other TM (Deja Vu)? I would like to switch to Deja, but Promt doesn't pair with it.
Does anyone considered pairing Systran? I've noticed in a data sheet that Systran pose 40000 segment limit, which is not convenient for big TMs.

Roman, I tried out in this direction too. In brief, I made a rough translation in Promt, then made the alignment (with Accross, in my case), and then the finite translation/ editing in Accross. I do not know how automatize translated segment substitution. The procedure is good for greater projects, I believe.

| Systran has TM plug-ins too || May 18, 2010 |
You need to check with Systran if the 40,000 segment limit is for the internal-built TM that comes within the MT system, or if it applies to the TMs in TMX format that you can attach like dictionaries.
Also, see the MT software reviews of Systran, PROMT and Reverso products by Tom Wassmer and me at:
Lang Tech Evaluation website v29:
in our review of PROMT v6, we describe the Trados plugin.
in my review of Systran v4, I mention a Trados plugin in the making. you need to contact Systran directly to ask them about their plugins for TM tools such as Trados, Star Transit, etc.
They mentioned during an Open doors presentation on 3 Dec 2009 at their Paris office that these adaptors/plug-ins exist.
