Hello Prozians,

I can't say I wasn't sad not to see my blog about the prospect of me writing a translation treatise get my blogs on my Facebook business profile more views after I mentioned it on the ProZ forums.

Anyway, my dream of becoming one of the great translators / translation scholars of my time remains burning bright, and I have been writing several more blogs on George Trail Translator over the past week or so, which I encourage you to read. I hope you will find them entertaining and enlightening.

By the way, can you lot please tell that Wayne Waz Sweeney guy to get stuffed.

Thank you very much for your time, and have a nice day.

George Trail

George, you need a proofreader. Sep 21, 2016

The tagline on yr website (http://www.trailtranslation.com ) says:

"To write the correct translations of foreign language document that can be trusted by anyone."

Have the French part of your website and French CV properly translated by a native translator, or just remove them.
In your own best interest ...

I'm sorry... Sep 22, 2016

...but this is ridiculous. The German version of your website is far from professional. How can you claim to be a specialist. It really makes me wonder.

I can't make any sense of that.

Maybe like me with modern art, you don't understand and appreciate "modern English". Anyone who can cram three negative verbs into 35 characters (including spaces) must have something going for them. Perhaps one day you'll hear it called a masterpiece.

and you don't understand him. His sentences are like Cubist paintings. Tom, please do not alter them.

And there you have it... Sep 22, 2016

He thought to himself, ahh the first day of autumn how sad and depressed will not be unfeeling my fellow Prozians, it is my duty to do that which has to be done and cheer them up with my entertaining proze.

So congratulations - he certainly fooled some of us! Personally I'm impressed that the amount of work he put into it (three versions of his website don't forget!). I'm sure we would have twigged earlier if he'd waited until next spring (somewhere between the 31 March and 2 April for example).

OMG I needed this. Sep 22, 2016

A long, long time ago I used to participate in an online political forum, which was occasionally blessed by rare visit from someone calling themselves "Murkin Patriot". Murkin seemed to be an angry, dim-witted heartland conservative, writing in all caps with spelling errors, but it wasn't long before the humor shone through – Murkin was a master (and probably NSFW) parody troll. Thanks, George, you are just what the translation world needs!
