Can't MemoQ 4 import Ms Excel 2007 file format?

Hi everyone!

Hope that someone can give me a clue.

I was given an excel file (2003 xls) for translation, but every time I try to import it as excel 2003 file it just gave me a annoyed message which says:

when I saved the document as excel 2007 file format and tried to import into my project, to my surprise, it seems memoQ 4 do not support excel 2007 file format!

I think it needs an Office 2003 setup... Apr 9, 2010

Do you have Excel 2003 installed in your machine?

In fact, I reinstalled my office 2003 but still no hope!

I think this could be some problem in your machine. Maybe Kilgray's support can help you solve it. Email them at support@kilgray.com. I am sure they will come back to you and try to find a solution. I can import all Excel files I get from my customers, so this could be some thing affecting your machine.

Thank you anyway. I managed to translate the documents by using trados studio 2009.
