Working on the same MemoQ project with a colleague

Dear colleagues,

Just a simple question: when I want to send a MemoQ project to a colleague so that he can continue working on my project, which file(s) do I need to send to him? Just the .mpr file? Or the whole project folder?

Is there anything particular to pay attention to?

What version of MemoQ? Jun 16, 2010

Probably already a 4.0 or 4.2? I ask because the method has changed a bit from 3.6, I think.

Probably a handoff? Jun 16, 2010

Unfortunately we don't use handoffs so I cannot be very useful, but I think you would need to make a handoff, i.e. assign files to that other user (in the Translations pane) and then make the handoff in the Overview pane. I cannot help you there, but I think MemoQ's help contains information about how to do this.

You can always export the memory, export a bilingual file, etc. etc., but all that could be more cumbersome.

I am sorry I am not a big help in this case!
