Spell checking on the fly: no red squiggly line appears

I'm using MemoQ 2013 and am trying to spell check as I go. I've gone to Tools>Options>Spell Settings and selected my language and have downloaded the appropriate Hunspell dictionary and made sure it was checked. I click OK.

But when I try to test it out by intentionally creating a misspelling, there is no indication that the word is misspelled.

Does anyone know why this isn't working?

Did you check "Check spelling as you type" in the spell settings window?
