Hello,

I have a translation with placeholders that don't have to be counted/imported. How can I exclude them to give my client the real number of words without e.g. the square brackets?

Thank ou in adavance!

You can use regular expressions.

When you have the file for translation open in the edit mode in MemoQ, go to Format menu - Run Regex Tagger. Once you see the settings work as desired in the preview or in the file itself, you can also use the same configuration during an import of a file.

Once the replacement is done, new statistics will reflect the changed word count.
