TMX: several hours to import 360000 entries. Normal?

Hello,
I want to import into a new TM a tmx file containing about 360.000 entries. For simplicity, I skip to define any attributes. I want then to use the TM as read-only afterwards.
MemoQ 2014 R2 proceeds the task but remains stucked at about 80% of the task for hours. Is this ok, or do I have to set special options prior of import?

Note: I can open the tmx without problems with a TM maniaging tool like Olifant. No file corruptions whatsoever.

Thanks,
Mike

I think they sped it up greatly in the latest versions of 2015 (which is the one I have). I will test a very big import now and report back ASAP.

OK, so I imported a TMX with around 600,000 entries. However, I walked away, and so am not sure how long it actually took.

This is what the little window says:

Anyone know how to decipher that? I think it took around 5-10 minutes.

TOPIC STARTER
I must update... Aug 2, 2016

Hello Michael,
thank you for taking time and showing me an example. By reading through the release notes, I conclude that I must urgently update to a newer version of MemoQ. In the scenario mentioned, I didn't have any problems in the past, even with big files.

Greetings,
Mike
