Hello,

I'm using MemoQ on Parallels on a Mac and Mac keyboard.

I don't know how to get capitalized accented vocals. Is there any way to get them such as with shortcuts from keyboard?

Thanks
Lucia

Alt codes Jun 14, 2018

On Windows, you use Alt codes, for example Alt+0193 for Á, if your keyboard doesn't have dead accent keys. You can google for example "alt code accented a".

On my Danish keyboard, I have dead keys for ´`¨^~, so I can type the French accented letters more easily than on a French keyboard, but I need Alt codes for ç and œ.

But I don't know if Alt codes work under Parallels.

Soft keyboard Jun 26, 2018

Don't you have a soft keyboard (software keyboard, virtual keyboard), a utility displaying a keyboard on the screen. If you have any, you can set it to your preferred language, find the accented chars, and insert them by clicking them.

Thanks for your help. I'll manage using the dead keys.
