Hi all,
is it possible to create a list over words/expressions that are not to be translated in Memsource?
Or is the term base the resource to use, if the client for example sends a list over product names not to be translated?

kind regards,
Ulrika Månsson

Non-translatables Jun 27, 2017

Hi Ulrika,
You can definitely use the Term Base to make sure that some product names are inserted in the translation in exactly the same format in which they appear in the original text, i.e. that for example Memsource Cloud is translated as Memsource Cloud.
As an alternative, you can use the "Convert to Memsource Tags" option that is available for most file type, and convert names into tags.
Please check "Tags for Placeables" in https://help.memsource.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1828994.
