Can anyone recommend a good debt collection agency in the UK (preferably taking a percentage and nothing if the debt is not collected)?

With an unpaid invoice of EUR 3,500 with a UK client that would be worth trying, right?

I can\'t name one but if all else fails it is certainly worth instructing a reputable debt collecting firm, and it\'s standard practice for them to work on a commission of what they recover and nothing if they don\'t.

Also, I don\'t know offhand the maximun size allowed when bringing a claim under the \"Small claims\" procedure of the County Court (local Eng/Welsh civil court), but if the sum you mention falls within it, and I think it may, costs for bringing it will be low and the pro... See more

Debt collecting firms may well use this route if others fail.
