Hi everybody,



someone placed another job (http://www.proz.com/job?id=17819)

offering $600 for 15.000 words, that\'s 0,04 per source word. Please protest! One of the bids is my protest.

Ridiculous payment term Jan 30, 2002

I totally agree, Eva. This payment term is really ridiculous especially provided that Trados must be used on top with Framemaker.



I was driven to post a counter bid which is a standard one without seeing the text and judging its difficulty.



The only thing that is reasonable in this job offer is the time frame. Period!

Two bids, I think, both protesting Jan 30, 2002

Don\'t worry, Eva, the posting is closed and think they got two bids, one from Carsten and the other from me. I wrote them that the rate would not cover the salary of my cleaning lady.
