I need a little help with a international transfer

Well i need to receive a international transfer and the person asked me the iban and bic number i called to hsbc panama and the operator sent me a email with all info to receive intenational transfer:

Instructions to send funs to accounts maintained in any branch of HSBC Bank (Panama) S.A. in the Republic of Panama.


Intermediary Bank:
Name: HSBC Bank U.S.A
Address: New York, U.S.A
CHIPS ABA: 021001088
SWIFT: MRMDUS33



Beneficiary Bank:
Name: HSBC Bank (Panama) S.A.
Address: Panama City, Republic of Panama

Account with Intermediary Bank 000-14118-6


what is iban and bic number? someone can help me?

SWIFT and BIC are basically the same number, so you already have the BIC as they gave you the SWIFT.

IBAN stands for International Bank Account number and is basically a combination of letters and numbers which indicate country, bank and bank account number.

Your bank has to provide the IBAN and I don't see why they mention the intermediary bank as you are having the funds sent to Panama not the US.
