A former client of mine refuses to pay me the last invoice I submitted. I informed them I would not work with them anymore and now they refuse to pay a monthly invoice. Any ideas are welcome. The client is based in California. I already tried the BB but unfortunately this cannot be managed by this means.

Thanks,

Elías

The Blue Board is not a collection agency Nov 22, 2012

First I have to say that I fully sympathize with you about this and sincerely hope that it is resolved.

What I want to say is that it gives me the shivers when I see that the Blue Board is used as a means of collection, and not a means of warning others about a bad outsourcer. Clearly the Blue Board should be used just to reflect whether you want to work for these people or not (you clearly do not in this case) and, optionally, your reasons. This is just to warn others, and not to try to force the company to pay to avoid a bad reputation.

I hope you did not mean that you add a bad score about them in the Blue Board with the intention of removing it as soon as they paid... If I got it all wrong, I apologize beforehand.

Tomás,

You are right. The wording seems to convey that intent about the BB. I want to clarify that I meant to say that unfortunately I could not warn others about what I firmly consider an abusive practice from a former client.

Also, I had assigned a score of 5 for this agency years ago, and I asked that it was removed. If the client refuses to pay me now, they don't deserve a good score from my part.

Best regards,

Elías

I am looking for a more non-biased webboard than Blueboard.
I am meeting with a voluntary liquidation declaring agency in Singapore now.
