As you may know, there are two types of accounts on Paypal: personal and business.
I was wondering, which is better for accepting payment for translation jobs? The business transaction rates are higher, but are there more payment options? Does paypal freeze Personal accounts that have too much in them?

Business is better Jul 18, 2013

Hi Shiku,

I started of with a personal account, but after receiving a certain amount of money (not even that much, but I guess that also depends per country), I had to prove my residency and so on. It's easier to start immediately with a business account, as you'll end up with one anyway.

Christine
