Many thanks in advance

More details, please... Oct 11, 2004

Hi Svetlana,
It would be useful if you could provide some more information, for example:
- What kind of amounts are we talking about (not the exact amount, but there's a difference whether you need to transfer 20 euros or 2,000..)?
- Are you resident in Russia (your profile doesn't say where you're located...)?
- Do you have a bank account? Assuming that's the case, is your bank account in roubles, or do you also have a foreign-currency account?

What is e.g. US-check? Daes it work in Russia?

A USD cheque is a cheque issued in US dollars, and usually drawn on a US bank. Cashing a USD cheque in Russia should be possible, however, I would expect the fees to be substantial - check with your bank.

Best regards,
Ralf
