Dear Colleagues,

I was recently asked to do the LQA on the localization I provided for a video game. The client asked me to state an hourly rate for that, and I have no experience with that type of work. Basically, I will be playing through the game to check the localization for errors in language, formatting, cohesion, suitability. Obviously, this will take more time than proofreading a text - I have no idea how much to charge per hour and would be grateful for any sound advice. Thank you in advance.

I usually charge about $45 per hour and love every minute of those projects.
