I don't know this nor do I know how to compute it. How do you charge for this fee? Is this different from rush charges? Thank you for your help.

Reular / Overnight / Weekend Rush Fee Jul 9, 2014

Hi,

Regular rush fee

During your business hours, a client contacts you and ask you to do a job right away or in such a short time, you charge a regular rush fee. An American friend of mine charges regular rush fee 25% of the price.

After-hours/weekend rush fee

During after-hours or weekend, a client ask you to do a job right away and deliver in a few hours/ late night or within the weekend, you can charge 50% of the price.

However, IMHO:

1) If your rate is already high, maybe you may not charge any rush fee above and
2) if that client is your regular client, you might charge a regular rate.

Just a thought.
