Hi all,
What would you consider an average rate per word for Arabic/English translation? How much it will change if the translator is certified through ATA?

ATA guideline rates? Feb 25, 2015

I believe they publish some so they are probably on their website. I'm not sure that ATA certification necessarily means you can charge more - just that you are perhaps more likely to be chosen for those jobs that pay better.

There are also community rates (obtained statistically from site users' rates) published here: http://search.proz.com/?sp=pfe/rates But of course, everyone is free to set their own rates.
