Invoicing tool for agencies
Thread poster: Rebecca Siguier

Dear community,
I am looking for an invoicing tool that would be suitable for a (small) translation agency.
I would need to have a basic follow-up of the invoicing, including different prices per client and different prices per freelance (and per freelance per type of work, e.g. translating or proof reading).
It would be fantastic if it included some sort of project management (but I can do without) and why not have already included in some translating software...

Does this exist?
Thanks.

Cheap and effective for small agency/freelancer business, but not cloud/internet-based so you would have to run it from the same computer. And the interface is not flashy but you can tweak it to work for you. For the cost, it's excellent value for money and basically paid for itself within one month of using it in my case.

About TO3000 Mar 19, 2019

If you outsource work to external translators, TO3000 doesn't have any "provider/freelancer" module and is specifically designed for us freelance translators.
Projetex is from the same AIT people and aimed at translation agencies. I don't know it, but since I've been living happily with TO3000 for more than a decade, Projetex might be just as good for your purposes.

You can also browse the forums to find other products.

I only chime in because you have specified this is for a *small* translation agency.

- BaccS (Team/Network edition or Web edition), offline/online - http://www.ibaccs.com/Home/Pricing - free demo version, web version demo upon request
- Protemos (Translation agencies edition), online - https://protemos.com/prices.html - 30 day free trial

Out of these three, I have experience with LSP.expert, and can vouch for it. Be sure to check it.

Quahill (http://www.quahill.com/en/index.html) is a very flexible, complete, and multi-lingual package with excellent support from the developer. EDIT And yes, it does project management also.

Personally I use... Mar 19, 2019

Hiveage (www.hiveage.com). While it is lacking in project management and translation software, it makes up in the ease of use for recurring projects and different pricing entries.

The very basic package will sets you around USD 180/yr.

BaccS Mar 20, 2019

I use BaccS (http://www.ibaccs.com/) that was included in my ProZ.com Plus package for one year. And I'm very happy about it for the flexible and customizable features.
