As seen in the job offer by Babylon:

www.proz.com/job/?id=23244

They might as well have it done by their own software: similar quality, even lower price icon_smile.gif.

Potential large scale translation job

Spanish>English. This is from Spanish for Latin America into English, up to 500,000 words. We would need the work back and ready to send to client by 2 july 2002. You need to specialize in the engineering field.

Pricing: $750 day for ten days

Both extremely urgent, and highly specialized work for less than 2 cents a word.

I wonder how much the revisors are being *charged* for the privilege of fixing whatever it is the agency is buying under those conditions, and at that price.

Truly amazing...

You give them a lot of credit, Dyran - they probably won\'t use revisors at all. This is the kind of job that ends up costing the customer at least twice as much. Once they find out about the poor quality, they end up having to get it retranslated...
