English to Chinese

Hi,

I'm a newbie for part-time translation, and do not know the market very well. Is there any one who knows the general rate charged for translating English to Simplfied Chinese (Mandarin) and Traditional Chinese? Especially for projects from U.S and Europe countries.

Thanks in advance.

Depends on you Sep 8, 2005

Count how much you have to make per month (for tax, rent, car, food, clothes, savings etc.), how much you can translate per month and divide the sum of money by the numer of words your arrived.

Regards
Heinrich
