Dear colleagues,

I have to give a rough estimate of the budget for one step of the linguistic validation project- pilot testing, as well as for the whole project (separately)that includes the work of forward and bacward translators, my own, proofreading, testing, providing reports on every step of the project etc.

Any piece of advice (concerning the costs)from those who have already dealt with such kind of projects would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Project Stopped at the Pilot Testing Step Jun 12, 2012

Dear All,

I have the same query like Rina.

The project involved:

1-Reconciliation for 2 Forwarded Translations.

2-Several Replies to client comments sent by the client on the reconciled version (2-3 replies) with many modifications accordingly.

3-Reply to the received 2 back translations.

4-Several Replies to received client comments.

5-Replies to the harmonized version after Questionnaire developer added his/her comments.

6-Revising the final format of the pilot testing report to be testes via the patients.

[7-Pilot testing]

[8-Proofreading. Finalizing the project.]

The client stopped the project on the final two steps (7 & 8).

Suppose we agreed on $100 as the due fees. How much they can deduct for completed steps.

In another words, bow much the percent of the pilot testing step should be charged in the whole project?

Your help will be highly appreciated.
