Attention all colleagues: I don't know if you already have received a letter from someone purporting to be from "Jaegermeister Nigeria" and proposing a long-term translation contract.

I am in contact with the Jaegermeister head offices and they assure me that:

"We are already informed about this person trying to get in business with translation companies all over the world by using our brand and company name. Please be sure that this person is not doing business in behalf of Jägermeister and is not an employee of our company."

It is probably what has become known as a "Nigerian scam" (no offense to our colleagues from Nigeria).

And Happy Holidays to everyone!
