Hi, everyone

I'm a beginner in the translation field. I know it's weird to ask for information about charge rates, but as a beginner, I want to learn about the "range" of charge rates on several subjects(fields) to be translated.

source language: English
target language: Chinese

fields/subjects: 1) technology
2) machinery
3) law
4) finance
5) medicine

I hope you guys can provide me with the "range" of charge rate based on your experience.

Thanks a lot.

It is important to know the format of the documents.

You have to consider that different formats require different runtimes. It is no the same to work in a text embedded in a image or with a monster Word file full with images, or with PDFs (extra work) as in a good formatted and easy to operate document.

Think about the time you need to do a job and the money you think you need/want to get each day for your living standard (considering illness, vacancy, etc.).
