You made my day.. Aug 28, 2006

Kurt,

Thanks for helping me start the day on a funny note. I had so much fun reading it. I am not even talking about yahoo.com address.. What's with the spelling of "intrested" and "fedral" - is this the local accent (I don't want to sound politically incorrect, and still)?

They got zero chance! Aug 28, 2006

Everybody knows that government agencies never pay in advance.
(In fact, they don't even pay on time.)

(so tell me again -- I have the government as a regular).

Still and all, how do you square this?

I too enjoyed the errors. What's interesting is that it's obvious that they are really looking at the site, profiles, forums, job announcements, etc, and trying new things to suck us into their scams.

I just hope no one falls for this.

But they did forget one important thing Aug 29, 2006

POTENTIAL CANDIDATES ARE KINDLY REQUESTED TO SUBMIT THEIR RESUME, RECENT JOB HISTORY AND REFERENCES FROM THEIR BANK MANAGER (INCLUDING FULL ACCOUNT DETAILS).

Or perhaps that comes later, for the advance-in-arrears payment.

Actually... Aug 29, 2006

"...FEDRAL MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND TOURISM..."

Surely the "D" in the first word should not be there?

But this:

http://www.proz.com/topic/52992

"Scamming the scammers" is interesting, if you're willing to read through the whole thing.

Hi,

I am the Managing Director of the real NBR Services based in France.

Please note that a complaint has been sent to Tripod webhosting about these Nigerian scammers using NBR Services identity.

Their website is now closed down.

Our company is not related to these scammers and we never require any fee in advance for job seekers.

Best Regards.
