EUR 10.50 / 1,500 words = EUR 0.007... Nov 10, 2002

...I have no idea about the market levels in SP>EN/EN>SP, but unless there\'s some calculation error here, this is ridiculous...

But hang on a second... \"25 lines @ 60 *words*\"? This sounds like an awfully long line to me... I guess this should be \"25 lines @ 60 *characters*\", right? Quite a difference, I\'d say. I\'ve no idea about the average number of characters in Spanish - using the approximate value for English (let\'s say, 7 chars/word), this works out at 25 * (60

But hang on a second... \"25 lines @ 60 *words*\"? This sounds like an awfully long line to me... I guess this should be \"25 lines @ 60 *characters*\", right? Quite a difference, I\'d say. I\'ve no idea about the average number of characters in Spanish - using the approximate value for English (let\'s say, 7 chars/word), this works out at 25 * (60/7) = 214 words; EUR 10.50 would thus work out at roughly 5 cents a word. Still veeery low, as far as I\'m concerned, but a bit closer to reality...

To identify *your* price, estimate how long it will take you to process this text. Use your target hourly rate to work out how much you should be charging.
