Can anybody tell me what a standard starting salary in a Swiss translation company as a junior translator would be?

Hi M.!

(sound like a James Bond movie already)

Looking at this one

quite a lot, so I guess it really depends on where you go and what languages you speak... and your experience and stuff like that

But in general I think you need to check adds for "office assistant" and "Tri-ligual secretary" rather then the professionals we are
- sad... but usually true...

hey ... wait... there seems to be some hope yet:
."I have a friend in Switzerland who is a translator and she got about 30%+ more in CH than in UK" from

who knows, maybe Switzerland is the place to be!

On the other had, if you happen to be a woman:
"Women in Switzerland earn between a quarter and a third less than men, with the salary gap widening among older workers, according to a new report."

In short - don't know really
