I saw this little clip on the meaning of the word "saudade" and thought it you might find it interesting:

It reminds me of one of my favorite Japanese words "natsukashi", which I believe has roughly the same meaning.

Thanks for the link. I really enjoyed the clip. In Romanian as well we have a word with more or less the same meaning: "dor".
And, just like the Portuguese people, we also like to think it is untranslatableicon_smile.gif
