Thanks for sharing. May 17, 2003

I am quite used to the second site. The only downside is that I got inundated by so many emails that I had to unsubscribe.

Otherwise, fine. Meanwhile, enjoy it while you can. icon_smile.gif

Another site offering a Word of the Day every day is:

www.dictionary.com

You can get the word of the day entirely FREE by informing your e-mail address and then clicking on "Sign Up".

Ah, and today's Word of the Day is "quash".

Hallo Paulicon_smile.gif

By the way, how did you come across this posting? It's from 200 ... 3. That seems like a hundred years ago.

Regards,
Anu

I wanted to share the word of the day site, so conducted a search and your thread came up. Whenever I want to make a contribution, first I see if there is already a thread going.

Today's Word of the Day is "valetudinarian".

I've just seen that you can even have the Word of the Day tweeted to you.
