Off topic: Institutional campaign: buy in ....your mother tongue
Thread poster: Felipe Gútiez
Why don´t Translation associations make campaigns like the ones made by nationalist-nationalcompaniesguided in the art "buy French", or "buy made in US"?
What about "In Internet, buy in French" or "I only buy in French" or "I only buy in Italian".
Websites with localization in more than 30 languages, for example, could get a kind of stamp.
Something similar to: disabled adapted or something similar. If a disabled person sees this sign, he knows that he can acccess this place in his wheelchair without problem.
In our example of stamp, this would mean, anybody without language knowledge other than their mother tongue is able to completely understand this website and buy in it.
Is there already something similar. Should´t translators associations take charge of this kind of stamp for the web sites?
Orders for translators would multiply for 100, isn´t it?
