I grew up listening to The Beatles and for these past couple of weeks I've been listening to 'Let it be' a lot, so I was nicely surprised to find out that 39 years ago, the final Beatles studio album was released. And it's still genius.. genius I said!

So stop working for four minutes and enjoy:

So did I! But I hadn't given them much time lately. This is great for a Friday night, just before turning off the computer.

As I am still growing up (that's a life's constant, isnt' it?) I put a Beatles record on at least once a week to clean up my ears from modern rubbish

Nice one Claudia!

A masterpiece May 9, 2009

Well, I guess I'll tell you the truth, but please don't kill me

I'm not a huge Beatles fan.. or, at least, I'm not really into their first recordings BUT I also think that in their latter production they really gave "something more" to their music turning into Giants.

"Let it be" might not be their best album ever - this is not the issue and I don't want to put up a fight - but it's a true masterpiece to me, its completeness both in music and lyrics is amazing.

Here's the link to one of my favorites, enjoy it

I grew up listening to The Beatles too. When I was learning English, I learned so many phrasal verbs and idioms through their songs. My first guitar lessons were based on The Beatles songs.

My favorite: George Harrisson and

THAT WAS JUST great... Some of the happiest times of my life were when London was vibrating to Hey Jude....my favourite..... But "Revolution".... "Help"... Talk about a flashback on your life.. wow! I wont say anymore!

Fabulous Idea...I really enjoyed it. Thank You.

Let it be...let it be..there will be an answer...let it be......

Someone here is asking me if I need to get my feet back on the ground !!

Have a great week

Kind regards

J.
