Today I received this e-mail, and I am really upset about this lazy scammer. I am tempted to send him an e-mail to come back with a decent story and to tell what my share will be in this transaction. Even as a potential fraud victim I think I deserve some respecticon_wink.gif

This is all what he wrote:
"I am Abogado Y .L.Carlos, an attorney at law.I contacted you for a business transaction to transfer of funds for investment purpose. A deposited Fund by late client of my in one of the banks here in Europe. Please contact me at once to indicate your interest. I will like you to acknowledge the receipt of this e-mail as soon as possible via my private emailicon_frown.gifladaloz1@aim.com) and treat with absolute confidentiality and sincerity.
I look forward to your quick reply.
Best regards,

Abogado Y .L.Carlos"

He's too occupied trying to swindle money from others, so he didn't have time to reply to your email. Maybe set your email settings to filter the keywords in his email, so he gets annoyed with bouncing emails.

So happy that I didn't get these lately.

Same development as in the real world May 15, 2009

It's just like the guys on the streets asking for change. They used to come up with the most elaborate stories of stolen wallets and maybe pregnant wives or sick children waiting at home. And at the end of the story they always were some £1.26 short of their train fare and couldn't you possibly help them out. Of course, they felt very awkard because they usually wouldn't ask a total stranger but...

Nowadays they just get straight to the point and can't be bothered to come up with a decent story anymore. Shame, really.
