Dear All

I am planning to spend a long weekend (from Fri to Mon) in Berlin and I am looking for an accomodation downtown, in a cosy, charming hotel or B&B (of good standard), far from the tourist hotel chains.

Any suggestions?

I recommend the Jugendhotel berlincity. I've always thought it would be nice to stay there if I were visiting.

There are two of them as I recall - shared and single rooms as well as apartments are available. I stayed there (in both) a few times about 8 years ago and was quite pleased.

I hope you found a nice one!
For later readers: I made a mistake, and the cute place I would enjoy staying in if I were a visitor is Berliner Bed & Breakfast, not the other one I listed.
