Hello all from Krakow, Poland,

a friend of mine, an orthopadic surgeon, is planning to attend several international symposia this and next year. He feels that his English may needs some work, and a short orientation in the UK would do him good. Ideally, he would like to be attached to an orthopaedic department or clinic for a couple of weeks, but he is open to other language training options, too.
He would be more than happy to invite a native colleague for a revisit stay in in Krakow and Zakopane area, his private practice, and/or hospital. Live-in or live-out.
I wonder if you have any suggestions? Any help would be much appreciated.

A quick Google for medical English course brings up a link to this language school in Oxford:

as well as other courses.

Contacting hospitals Oct 5, 2009

Perhaps he could try contacting hospitals directly. They all have webpages with contact info. Someone might redirect him to sections or websites that are popular among medical staff, or they might run exchange programmes and the like.

Just one example:

Also, he might try posting an ad on Gumtree, available for every city.
