I see that the badly-written article thinks "garcon" is a word, in French.

The trouble with lazy-language people is that they've never known what mastery of another language can do - opening a door into a whole other world.

Having quite a few Arab friends, I'm always thinking about learning Arabic, which would give me access to a vast world of poetry about which I know very little, but which is very important to Arabs.

I'm not sure the missing cedilla is unintentional there. I think it's part of the joke. The Daily Mash is, after all, one big piss-take.

I can't see it having any real impact or making the slightest bit of difference really (sadly).
