Nice one, always did like geography Aug 26, 2005

My result: 42 out of 45 - average error: 14 miles.
Major errors: Vatican City, Liechtenstein and San Marino.

Jørgen

Oh boy, I'm hooked now... Now I know all the US state capitols in less than two minutes...

A great way of learning geography facts. Similar systems should be used more for teaching hard facts in schools..

30 / 32 in the Asia game Aug 26, 2005

Though all the "stans" almost killed me.

Gosh, back to work now before I get really addicted to this game

Nice exercise... Aug 26, 2005

A lot depends on the order in which you get your countries. If you get Andorra before Spain and France, for example, it's quite hard to pinpoint its exact location. Likewise for the other small states.
It's also hard to get the right locations for landlocked countries if their neighbours are not yet in place.

cheers,
Pawel Skalinski

p.s. Now, the US states and their capitals, that's a challenge!

they're not always precise: the Czech Republic is allotted to the European Plain, their mountains razed to the ground...
