Hi everybody, as non-native speaker of English I am often quite lost in the acronyms used in the posts, articles etc. Would you help me put together a list of the most frequent ones? I've already figured out what is:
ASAP - as soon as possible IMO - in my opinion TM - translation memory
But what about "lol" (lough out loud?)?

Acronyms are listed in the most recent editions of well-known dictionaries, like Oxford or Collins
I have an OED (second edition, 2003) which has an appendix "English in Electronic Communications", and a Collins Dictionary & Thesaurus (third edition, 2003) which has a "Language in action" chapter at the end, including acronyms used in text messaging.
