And how much would it charge per word?

From an offer for translation services received today:

"Dear manager,

We are a large italian translation company. Our best rate is € 0,045 eur per word. A MOTHERTONGUE with over 6 years of experience will work on this!"

If 6 years are worth 0,045, than any additional year should be plus 0,0075. Say, you are 36 years old, this equals Euro 0,27 / source word. Hey, that's not bad!))

Hey, that's my exact age, and that rate sounds very good to me right now
