Try this Flash animated site: it is an excellent attempt to predict the possible outcome of an attack on Iraq.

The interface resembles that of a strategy game. Excellent, really!

The scary thing is that all predictions are actually quite possible.

It is a must for game addicts and virtual peace activists!

Cheers Csaba! Jan 17, 2003

A great site. I\'ve suspected for sometime now that this is how \'Dubya\' & \'our Tony\' work out their strategies.

The only thing that shocks me is how they have managed to miss the potentially lethal pretzel from the arsenal of deadly weapons!

Peaceful regards from the UK.

I\'m off to rest my bayonet & get a cuppa.

Sara.

Whoopa!! Jan 17, 2003

Does it ever reach an end? Got tired of clicking the Continue button... And what\'s grossly-overlooked North Korea doing meantime? Invading China with Cuban mercenaries or promoting a Communist Soccer World Cup?

It\'s off topic, isn\'t it? Surely, W or Tony don\'t visit ProZ... Bah!

Explanation Jan 19, 2003

Political postings to ProZ.com have run the gamut from lighthearted jokes, to urgent calls to action, to a graphic photo of a lynching.

We can not ask forum moderators to judge, on a case-by-case basis, what is polically correct or not. (Of course they, and all of us, will have biases.) Better that we stick to language and leave political causes or satire to sites focused on that.

Peace,

Henry

I dunno Jan 21, 2003

I liked Csaba\'s game because a National Geographic survey found that only 13 % of Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 could identify Iraq on a map. The good news, after a year-long war in Afganistan a whopping 17% of young people could identitfy that country. Should we not educate interpreters so that they know that if they are called for an assignment in Monterey or Oakland, they should not be boarding planes for Monterrey or Auckland?

What will happen? Jan 23, 2003

Targets will be serviced by vertically deployed antipersonnel devices and termination specialists.
