I\'m changing figures in a balance sheet and don\'t know how to place a double-underline beneath total figures. For sub-totals I use the regular underline feature.

Help appreciated.

It should be simple! Apr 11, 2003

Just mark the text you wish to underline and then press Ctrl+shift+D

If you use a table anyway... Apr 11, 2003

The best option might be to

- select the whole table,

- go to Format -> Borders & Patterns -> Border -> None (on the top left)

- select the cell

- go to Format -> Borders & Patterns -> Border -> Individual settings (or something like that it is called, it is at the bottom on the left side) AND

- select in the drop-down menu in the middle (the upper one) the double line AND

- select on the right-hand side of the panel the respective icon.

To avoid a continuous line, you might insert some narrow columns between your \"real\" columns.

If you already typed the table in Word, there is still an easy way to convert it into a table (Table -> Convert -> Text to table).

Have fun, it\'ll be easy once you tried.

Double underline Apr 11, 2003

Hi Kim,

Highlight the figure, go to Format, Font, Underline and select the double underline.

Et voilà!

Shift + Ctrl + D Apr 11, 2003

Hi Kim,

The easiest way ist just to highlight the part you want to underline and then do Shirt+Ctrl+D (should work on a German platform).

It doesnt\' take a second!

Best regards,
